Fixing those rounded shoulders

Welcome back this week, as we hit the ground running and focus our minds on neck and shoulders. After a break, we all need to stretch out and unfurl those rounded shoulders, and Pilates is the best way to do it! This exercise you see above, the side plank, if done correctly is an amazing core, back and shoulder strengthening Pilates movement.

As you know we have much to look forward to in May, with launch week to begin week commencing 27 May, the start of which will coincide with my Masters Training for Pilates instructors, hosted by The Pilates Studio Edinburgh, when we welcome our guest from California. This is closely preceded by the Studio (and my own!) birthdays, so please make sure you have marked the 24th May in your diaries: this will be our birthday party date, which will take place from 7pm at The Grange Club in Stockbridge. Please be reminded that if the weather is good on the day, we will also be having a barbecue from 4pm, where children and families are welcome! Please therefore RVSP by emailing me directly on to let me know if you are planning to attend one or BOTH of these events.
